Recipe for a Refreshing Vino-Punch

Leftover wine loses its aroma and flavor after 1 to 2 days. Instead of disposing it, why don’t indulge yourself with a glass of refreshing vino-fruit punch (a simpler and lazier version of the traditional sangria)?

Vino Fruit Punch with Red Wine

Recipe for Vino Punch

Ingredients:

Unfinished dry wine
Fruit punch (10-20% of the wine)
Sugar (as desired)
Club soda (10-20%, adjust as desired)
Ice cubes
Optional: Liquor (Brandy, Vodka, or Gin)
Optional: Fruits (lemon, orange, peach, strawberries)

Directions:

Mix the wine, juice, liquor (optional) and sugar. Toss in some fruits and leave it in the fridge for several hours. Add club soda, ice, and dashes of fresh lemon juice upon serving to give it a fresh taste!

Zesty Lemon Vino-Punch with White Wine

Ingredients:

Unfinished dry white wine
Lemon juice / lemonade (20-30% of the wine)
Sugar (adjust as desired)
Soda water (10-20%)
Ice cubes
Optional: Liquor (Brandy, Vodka, or Gin)
Optional: Fruits (orange, lemon, lime, peach, pineapples wedges)

Directions:

Mix the wine, juice, liquor (optional) and sugar. Toss in some fruits and leave it in the fridge for several hours. Add club soda, ice, and dashes of fresh lemon juice upon serving to give it a fresh taste!

Customization:

Do modify these recipes according to your palate preference… and what you have in your fridge. Orange juice and lemon slices can replace the fruit punch and fruits if that is all you have at home. For a spicier taste, use gingle ale instead of club soda. And for a stronger punch, increase the amount of brandy.

Make the most out of your left-over wines and enjoy!
